Water Orton Remembrance Parade

PCSO Smith and PCSO Mitchell attended Water Orton Remembrance Service in honour to all those who lost their lives, fighting for our country.

Another lovely service, well done to the organisers.

In quiet fields where poppies grow,

We pause beneath November’s glow.

For every soul who gave their all,

We hear the echo of duty’s call.

From village lane to city street,

Where courage and compassion meet,

Warwickshire’s finest stood with pride,

With steadfast hearts, they never hide.

They bore the badge through darkest days,

In silence walked the hardest ways.

Their watchful eyes, their steady hand,

Kept peace across this cherished land.

We honour those who gave their breath,

Who faced the storm, who met with death.

Their names engraved not just in stone,

But in the hearts they called their own.

So let the bugle softly play,

And wreaths be laid this solemn day.

For those who served, for those now gone,

In honour, love, and light — live on.
